We were exploring new waste-based technologies that could be promoted in Douala through our urban slum programmes. We went to Acrest’s site and we were very expressed by technologies being developed. Amongst technologies, we pay our attention on briquette.
In December 2013, We have been discussed with Acrest team about any training on it that could be facilitated by them in Douala for the profit of our beneficiaries directory under the framework of the ‘Waste to Wealth’ project with the purpose to promote it. Acrest agreed to join us in Douala and from 28 – 31 January 2014 together with its delegated team, we trained 21 youth people from the Biology club of the University of Douala.
